  • Grass-cutting and cleaning of roads and main entrances on weekly basis
  • Promote initiatives such as “Cleaning your Door-step”, painting of robots, road signs, dust bins etc..

Safety & Security

 

  • Rapid response by the RID, TMPD, SAPS and Security firms
  • Law-enforcement and visibility by TMPD through daily patrolling on motor bikes.
  • Protection of critical infrastructure (Substations, Cables, Pylons, etc).
  • Direct access to the RID Satellite Office for reporting of incidents via a dedicated number available to RID members only
  • 24-Hour surveillance through CCTC-cameras linked to a control room.

Technical & Roads

 

  • Establishing of a structured approach on the upgrading and maintenance of roads, water and electrical infrastructure
  • Establishing Technical Task Teams inclusive of Business to assist the City with critical upgrades and maintenance 
  • Involving RID Members on a Monthly Work Session chaired by the COO together with all relevant Departmental Heads.
  • Renewable energy initiatives.

Community Engagement

 

    • Applying the Asset-Based-Community Development Program initiated by the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) to interact with Communities around Rosslyn in a structured manner
    • Coordination of combined CSI-projects
    • Formalizing street vendors in collaboration with the City of Tshwane and TMPD.
    • Co-ordination of opportunities; projects; training; etc. through a combined community online portal.

  • Invitation to the quarterly Rosslyn Connect Network
  • Invitation to the Exporters Network focusing on export development in collaboration with the DTIC
  • Comprehensive business profile of all RID members on the CCBC website (www.ccbc.co.za)
